About Iyinoluwa Aboyeji

Iyinoluwa ‘E’ Aboyeji is passionate about building a future where prosperity and purpose are within reach for all Africans. He is CEO and General Partner of Future Africa, the fund for Africa’s future, providing capital, coaching, and community to bold and visionary leaders turning Africa’s biggest challenges into business opportunities. The fund has invested in over 100 companies across the continent, collectively worth over $6 billion. Some notable investments include Moove, a flexible car ownership platform that empowers Uber drivers in Nigeria, and Itana, a network of charter cities for African technology talent.

He is also Managing Partner at Accelerate Africa. Prior to launching Future Africa, he co-founded and scaled several category-defining technology businesses in Africa, including two of the continent’s first startup unicorns: Flutterwave and Andela.

Before that, he co-founded Andela, Africa’s largest engineering organization with over 1000 software engineers. For both companies, he raised millions in funding from the world’s top investors.

E was named 30 under 30 in Enterprise Technology by Forbes and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader for his contributions to the African innovation and investment landscape. Although they are a nomad family, he primarily resides in Lagos, Nigeria with his wife and child.

Chess in Slums Africa (CISA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting children from underserved communities through the strategic use of chess, STEM education, and socio-emotional development. Founded in 2018 by Tunde Onakoya, CISA began with the simple goal of teaching chess to children in slum communities as a means to enhance their cognitive and life skills.
